The Sound recordings menu item is only visible to users who have the Access to sound recording data permission.

The submenu items under this section allow users to:

  • Report new sound recordings on behalf of the rights holders they represent to the MAHASZ sound recording registry system
  • Modify the data and ownership of already reported recordings

Uploading and editing options:

  • To upload multiple new recordings, use Upload new list
  • To upload a single new recording, go to My sound recordings and select New sound recording
  • To track the status of your uploaded lists, use My uploaded lists
  • To view, search, or filter your recordings, use My sound recordings
  • To edit recording data, use the Details action in My sound recordings
  • To modify rights information (period, share) or to withdraw rights, use the Rights action in My sound recordings

Managing conflicting recordings:

  • To view conflicting recordings, use My double claims
  • To modify rights (period, share), withdraw rights, or retain rights, use the appropriate action in My double claims

Export to Excel:

  • To export recordings to an uploadable Excel template, use the Download as Excel table action in My Recordings
  • To export conflicting recordings to Excel, use the Download as Excel table action in My double claims
