Modifying stored variants
Use the table to modify stored variants. Changes made in the table are temporary until confirmed with the Save button. This means modifications can be undone until saved.
- To add a new stored variant: Use the
New stored variant action above the table, then in the appearing window, follow the instructions in the New stored variant section.
- To delete a stored variant: Use the
Delete action in the Actions column of the variant’s row. (This is only possible if at least one stored variant remains in the list.)
- If the variant originally in the table (not newly added), deletion will gray out the row and show an
Undo action. You can still restore the variant using this option.
- If the variant was newly added, deletion will remove it from the list entirely.
- To modify a stored variant: Use the
Edit action in the Actions column of the variant’s row, then in the appearing window, follow the instructions in the Data of sound recording section.
Once completed, the table will reflect the modified data. If you decide not to proceed with the changes, you can discard the window at any time using the Back button and return to the list of sound recordings.
Confirming modifications
When you are finished and wish to apply the changes, click the Save button.
- Newly added versions will be entered into the registry
- Deleted versions will be removed from the registry
After saving, the system will return to the list of sound recordings.
Important: Recordings cannot be fully deleted from the system; at least one stored variant must always remain. If the remaining variant contains incorrect data (e.g., Performer, Title, or Version), you must waive your rights to the recording and re-register it with the corrected information.
