Actions
Control buttons of actions (icons) fall into two main categories: some apply to the entire table, others to individual items. It depends on the position of the icon.
Table-level actions
These icons affect the entire table and appear in gray circles in the top-right corner of the table. Common ones include:
Refresh: reloads the data.
Reset to default: resets sorting, items per page, column selection, order, width, etc. to default and clears all filters.
Add new item: adds a new item (where applicable).
Download as Excel: saves table data in Excel format (where applicable).
Chart: displays table data in chart format (where applicable).
Mobile-only icon: used to display the Items per Page setting, column selector, and column headers for filtering and sorting.

Item-level actions
These icons apply to individual items and appear in the Actions column (usually the last column by default), typically in blue circles. They always refer to the selected item. The Actions column cannot be hidden. Common actions include:
Details: displays further or detailed data for the item.
Edit: modifies item data (where permitted).
Delete: deletes the item (where permitted).
Download file: downloads the file associated with the item (if available).
