Some functions enable you to save table data into Excel format.

If the generated Excel file is too large, the system creates multiple Excel files and returns them in a zip archive.

If no format selection is available in the actual function, or not a special format is selected, the system will always generate an Excel file matching the structure of the visible table.

Table-matching format

The system generates an Excel file that replicates the currently visible table on the worksheet named after the function.

  • Only the visible columns are included, in the order they appear on screen.
  • Column headers are added to the top row.
  • If the table is filtered, the Excel file will contain an additional Filter worksheet listing the active filter settings

The Excel file name will match the name of the function.
