Accessing the function

In the Sound recordings/My sound recordings menu, select the sound recording, then use the Details action, followed by the Edit action for the stored variant to be deleted. (This action is displayed only if the sound recording has multiple stored variants.)

Function overview

This function allows the rights holder to delete a stored variant of the sound recording, but only if there is more than one stored variant. See details in Stored variants of the sound recording/To delete a stored variant.Stored variants of sound recording

Important: 

The stored variant will be permanently deleted only if you confirm the changes using the  Save  button in the stored variants list.
