Income by sound recordings
Function overview
This feature allows eligible users to:
- View royalties attributed to their sound recordings using various filtering criteria
- Export the filtered data table to an Excel file
- Examine the origin of royalties for each sound recording in detail (e.g. year, distribution type)
- Generate a chart showing the distribution of royalties across their sound recordings
You need the Access to sound recording data permission to access this function.
Loading process
When the feature is launched, circular progress indicators appear, showing the progress of operations required to load the page as percentages. This allows users to track the current loading status during any potential wait time.
Table contents
After loading, the table shows a list of sound recordings affected by royalty distributions for the rights holder. For detailed instructions on how to manage tables, see: Table handling.
Available columns
- Performer: The performer of the sound recording (mandatory, cannot be hidden)
- Title: The title of the sound recording (mandatory, cannot be hidden)
- Version: The version of the sound recording
- Media type: The type of media where the sound recording was played and generated royalties. (Available options are shown when the filter is expanded.)
- Distribution type:The type of royalty distribution that generated the royalties.
- Distribution: The name of the distribution that generated the royalties.
- Origin: Domestic or foreign classification.
- Amount: The royalty amount generated by the sound recording, rounded to two decimal places (forint and fillér). (A value of 0.00 Ft indicates that the royalty amount was less than one fillér.)
Note: Displaying or hiding the Media type, Distribution type, and Distribution columns affects the number of rows in the table. For example, if a sound recording was played on both radio and television, it will appear in multiple rows when Media type column is visible, but may be merged into a single row when it is hidden.
Additional information
At the bottom of the table, a summary row displays the total royalty amount. This value is rounded to whole Hungarian Forints (HUF) according to standard rounding rules.
Table-level actions
