Accessing the function

In the Royalty data/Income by sound recordings menu select a sound recording and use the Chart action for it.

Function overview

This feature allows users to generate a chart showing the annual distribution of royalties for the selected sound recording.

Information above the chart

Above the chart, the window displays the identifying details of the selected sound recording, including the Performer, Title, and Version. Next to these, you’ll see the list of years previously selected in the Income by sound recordings view — these years determine which data is shown in the chart.

Royalty revenues chart

  • The horizontal axis represents the years of royalty income
  • The vertical axis shows the amount of royalties earned
  • If recordings appear merged in the Income by sound recordings view (e.g. Media type is not visible), the chart displays the amounts broken down by color — for example, separate colors for TV and radio
  • A legend explaining the colors is shown before the chart.

Use the Back button to return to the Income by sound recordings table.
