Revenue attachment
Accessing the function
In the Royalty data/Royalty revenues menu select the distribution and use the Detailed xlsx action.
Function overview
This feature allows users to view a detailed breakdown of the selected royalty distribution in Excel format.
- The file is named using the rights holder’s name and the distribution name (e.g. rightsholdername – distributionname.xlsx).
- If the user represents multiple rights holders (see here), and more than one of them received royalties from the distribution, the system packages the individual Excel (.xlsx) files into a ZIP archive. After extracting the ZIP file, each attachment can be viewed separately. The ZIP file is named using theprimary rights holder’s name and the distribution name (e.g. rightsholdername – distributionname.zip).
Note: Language of attachments
Both the Excel attachment and the Revenue notice are generated in the correspondence language of the rights holder, which may differ from the language used in the application interface. Therefore, the worksheet and column names below are also shown in parentheses in the other language, ensuring clarity for users regardless of their language settings.
Contents of the Excel attachment
The Excel file contains multiple worksheets:
- Rights holder (Jogosult) worksheet: Always included in the file. It displays the name of the rights holder and the total amount of royalties allocated to them in the distribution. The amount is rounded to two decimal places (forint and fillér), but when hovering over the cell, the full precision is visible.
- Recordings worksheets: Depend on the type of distribution.
- In the simplest case, a single Recordings (Hangfelvételek) worksheet lists the royalties attributed to each recording.
- If the distribution covers multiple royalty types (N/A distribution) or media types (private copying levy, public performance revenues), the breakdown follows the structure of the corresponding notice. In such cases, multiple worksheets display the royalties attributed to sound recordings by type.
- Participants in distribution (Felosztásban részt vevők) worksheet: In the case of broadcast-based distributions, this worksheet lists the radio and television stations involved in the current distribution, along with the playback periods (quarters) considered during the allocation.
Columns of recordings worksheets
Each worksheet includes the following columns:
- Rights holder (Jogosult)
- Producer of Sound Recording (Hangfelvétel előállító)
- Artist (Előadó): Performer of the sound recording
- Title (Cím)
- Origin (Eredet)
- Release Date (Megjelenés dátuma)
- ISRC
- Amount (HUF) (Összeg): Displayed rounded to two decimal places (forint and fillér). Hovering over the cell reveals the full precision. This allows users to verify the exact amounts behind entries listed as 0.00 Ft in the sound recording list — which may indicate royalties below one fillér.
The last column of the first row in each worksheet contains the total sum of royalties listed in that sheet.
