Function overview

The application's features are available only to registered users representing registered rights holders. Registration primarily serves to register rights holders, but it is also required for the first user who wishes to represent a rights holder, provided they are not already registered as a representative of another rights holder.

Use registration if:

  • you have never used the application as a registered user;
  • you are already a registered user but wish to use the application on behalf of a new rights holder who is not yet registered in the MAHASZ system (in this case, registration can only be initiated after logging out, via the navigation menu on the login screen).

The registration screen consists of three sections. Fields marked with * are mandatory.

Rights holder

This section is for entering the details of the rights holder to be registered. Please provide the requested information.

Invoicing data

These details are provided for informational purposes only and are optional. MAHASZ uses the data shown on invoices when processing royalty payments.

User

This section is for entering user details.

  • If you do not yet have a user ID:
    • Select the New user option.
    • Choose a user ID. If you receive an error message indicating that the ID already exists, please choose another.
    • Enter the password you wish to use for login, then confirm it by entering it again.
    • Provide the remaining user details.
  • If you already have a user ID:
    • Select the Existing user option.
    • Enter your user ID and the corresponding password.

Important: Please provide an email address where you can be reached, as the system uses this for sending verification codes and certain notifications. (If your email address changes, you will be able to update it within the application.)

Note: Emails sent by the system will be in the language specified under the rights holder’s correspondence settings, except for messages containing verification codes. These are generated during application use and will be sent in the language set within the application.

Submitting registration

  • After completing the required fields, declare your criminal liability, then click the   Ok   button.
  • The system will send a verification code to the email address associated with the user (this email address will also be displayed on the screen).
  • Enter the digits of the verification code into the fields shown on the screen, then click the   Registration   button.
  • If the code is entered correctly, your registration request will be submitted. A confirmation email will be sent to the user’s email address indicating that the request is under review.
  • The registration will remain pending until MAHASZ decides to approve or reject it. The decision will be communicated via email.
  • If the email confirms that the registration has been approved, the initiating user will be able to log in to the application using the provided username and password, representing the newly registered rights holder. (Please note that the review process is not immediate and may take several days.)

These emails will be sent in the specified correspondence language.

If you click the Cancel button during the process above, the application will return to the Login screen.
